Duta Artha Selaras: SEO Rebuild for a Pest Control and Fumigation Company

- Client PT Duta Artha Selaras, Bandung
- Industry Fumigation, pest control, anti termite, export cargo (EMKL)
- Board WHITE Page
- Services SEO audit, content consolidation, pillar pages, article production, technical fixes, GA4 and Search Console, monthly performance reports
- Period June 2026 to now
The problem
The site did not lack content. It had too much of it competing with itself: 643 published articles, roughly two thirds of them near duplicates, with about a hundred pages targeting the same phrase, “jasa fumigasi bandung”. Google had to guess which one mattered, and it guessed differently every week.
What we did
Audit first. A full inventory of the site through its own API, clustered by search intent, plus a rendered audit of the twelve pages that carry the business. The conclusion fit in one line: one intent, one page.
Consolidation in two waves. Three pillar pages were written or rebuilt (fumigation, mosquito fogging, anti termite) and 180 duplicates were redirected into them. A second wave folded the remaining 209 duplicates into 20 canonical topic pages. Every redirect was verified live. Published articles went from 638 to 254 with zero duplicate clusters left, and about 780 thin tag archives were taken out of the index.
Content that reads like a company, not a bot. Fifteen new or refreshed articles from a house style guide (technical specifics like ISPM 15 and AFASID, varied rhythm, no dashes) with an automated checker before anything ships. Images carry the DAS logo on the uniform, not as an overlay.
Housekeeping that moves the needle. One phone number across 453 content touchpoints, WhatsApp clicks tracked as a GA4 key event, and thirty client revision points on the site itself, including a new hero and service grid.
A monthly rhythm. Performance reports for June, July and August, with rankings checked two ways: Search Console data and dated live searches.
Where it stands
By mid August the brand query sits first, “jasa fumigasi bandung” is on page one and quoted in Google’s AI answer, and the bed bug service shows in the local pack. Just as important, the site can now be worked on: new articles have a home, and nothing new cannibalises anything old.
